Day 5 was rest and seeing family

Started the day by sleeping in a little, taking our time getting dressed and updating pics and blog.
The Hotel Bellingham is very nice, bed is great, can walk to the Legion and close to everything you need.

We had coffee in the afternoon with Steven and David.  It was great to see them both!!
And a wonderful dinner with Steven and Ruth at Anthony's on the water.  They had rhubard desert also!  Um!!
We are hoping to still meet up up with Cindy today or tomorrow.

What a beautiful drive yesterday from Winthrop Washington to Bellingham Washington!  176 miles to our final stop on this leg of our trip. The Cascades were beautiful and cold, but it was worth it to see Lake Diablo!  The color of the water is amazing!

Day 3 is complete!

Day 3,
Made it safely to Winthrop Washington!  382 miles.
Staying at the Virginian Resort.  Very cute, right on the river where the Methow and Chewuch meet.

Idaho is pretty cool with lots of farm land and some really neat gorges!!  Washington was not was I was thinking,  alot of farmland and wide open spaces.  Went through tons of apple and cherry fields also!

Had dinner at the pizza place right next door, cant remember the name but very good.  Theresa and I tried the local wine and the boys had a local beer.

Getting ready for day 4 and the ride through the North Cascades National park and into Bellingham.!

It was a "cool" start today!  40 degrees when started, but then warmed up through the day
Saw some beautiful scenery, the Snake river and the Little Salmon river were really running.  453 miles to Grangeville Idaho.   Tomorrow heading to Winthrop Washington!

Ready for day 2

Gotta love a motel you can literally park your bike in front of your room!  Heading to Grangeville Idaho today, about 445 miles.  Looks like we will miss the rain.

1 day till we leave!  Where has the time gone!  Am I ready?  No, will I be, of course!
Looks like the weather is going to be fairly good, a slight chance of rain the 1st 2 days on the road, but then hopefully not much more.
I will try to post every night, but if not, I will get caught up when I can.
For all you prayer warriors, please keep our safety in your prayers.
